Dark Kitchen Cabinets Vs White

If your kitchen is more traditional classic cabinet colors like creams and whites make good choices and if your design is more modern bright colors often work best.
1 light cabinets tend to give the space an airy clean feel while dark tones can give the kitchen an edgier and more dramatic look. If your kitchen is on the small side or is not well lit darker colored cabinets could make the area feel cramped. Dark wood can become dull around the drawer pulls too not so with white. Since cabinets take up a lot of visual space a lighter colour for the cabinets helps give a more expansive feel.
I m surprised to say that because i much prefer white usually especially in farmhouse design. Some people don t mind the look of white cabinets black appliances. Overall a white or light kitchen will evoke a clean and sanitary look. Personally and decoratively i find it way too high contrast unless particular things are in place which i ve covered in this blog post but i can say that generally speaking i don t do black appliances with a white kitchen.
I think it s because the design above looks very modern y to me maybe it s the handles on the cabinets. Think about the size. White vs dark kitchen cabinets. It has a more modern and high end appearance.

The white just looks cheap to me. Now if you go ultra modern they may look dated in ten years. I much prefer the black.
