How i transformed my kitchen by painting one cabinet.
I painted everything else white so i decided a dark charcoal gray would be a nice contrast and help break things up. The kitchen above is in avon lake and we helped their kitchen go from a dark brown almost black stained cabinet to a bright white. Well maybe just my dreams white reflects light around a room causing the space to feel bright and airy. Our mostly white kitchen cabinets took on a whole new look when we decided to re paint our coffee cabinet.
The white dishes that used to contrast with the darker cabinet suddenly blended in and looked like the dishes in my kitchen cabinets. White also feels clean and crisp and creates a sleek look. This really transformed the space and made the entire kitchen look bigger. I only did this step on the most prominent areas the drawer fronts cabinet doors and cabinet boxes.
The salmon wall was first on my list to paint when we moved in. Here s how i transformed and modernized my kitchen with paint. Because of this it is really easy to see the difference between filling the wood grain and skipping it.
