According to the kitchen cabinet manufacturers association the weight limit of the average kitchen cabinet is 600 pounds.
I found a farmhouse sink i d like to install and it s about 150lbs. 140 kg and no noticeable bowing or deflection in the cabinet. I purchased standard cabinets no plywood box including a 33 farmhouse sink cabinet. I dread to think how much they weigh one option which i used in the utility room that houses a store of tins and jars is to fit a moulded batten to the wall underneath the cupboard so it sits on the batten as well as the wall brackets.

Since you didn t say how big this cabinet is and i m not going to go and weigh a stack of dishes i don t know exactly what weight a given cabinet shold hold.
