Use a cloth to wipe down the cabinets with the vinegar and water solution and then dry the cabinets with a clean dry towel to prevent warping.
Dampen a cleaning cloth with some linseed oil. This will remove grease and lift the dirt leaving the cabinet good as new. If your cabinets used a water based latex style of paint use caution when scrubbing. Do tackle tough spots with baking soda.
