How To Fix Broken Kitchen Cabinet Hinges

Unscrew the top and bottom hinges even if you are only replacing one hinge.
Take the hammer and tap the toothpick skewer into the hole. Drill bit and a package of 1 2 in diameter hardwood plugs sold at home centers. Remove the screws that are attached to the cabinet door. Tap the cut area with the hammer to make sure it is flush with the cabinet front.

Compare the drill bit width to the size of the insert to find which bit size to stop at. The fix is easy and cheap.
