Kitchen Cabinets Too High To Reach

I just bought a new house and the base cabinets are higher than my old kitchen.
If not that s completely understandable. I have slanted walls so it s difficult to fit them. Today i want to show you my over the fridge cabinet my over the microwave cabinet and the drawer under my stove and give a couple more tips to help you organize those awkward and hard to reach places in your kitchen. I had my kitchen remodeled and my contractor put my cabinets in way too high for me even to reach on the oven side.
The bathrooms have taller base cabinets too. Have you ever noticed that weird space between the tops of your cabinets and the ceiling in your kitchen. I heard 52 inches i m not sure if that s right but also any ideas. The extra storage is really tough for me to take advantage of i m just not tall enough to reach.
The taller bases are more comfortable. But this looks like a mess to me. Obviously a ladder but because of cabinets i m unable to safely reach ceiling line. We re remodeling our kitchen and need to install upper cabinets that are low enough to comfortably reach the shelves but high enough so that the countertop doesn t feel cramped.

You either lucked out with cupboards that stretch all the way to the ceiling have open shelving or this blank spot just hasn t come to your attention yet. How many inches should be from the floor to the bottom of the wall cabinet. I m so not a tall person. In fact when i renovated my kitchen i decided to do away with upper cabinets completely trading them in for windows.
We are both tall enough to reach most shelves comfortably i m 5 5 and the ones that i had to get a stepstool for were items i rarely used anyways so not a hassle. In a small kitchen space ceiling height cabinets will cause a cramped effect. I am 5 4 and have the same issue with the upper shelves but i ll have to adapt. Cabinets up higher helped to fill the space properly up top.
Kitchen cabinets too high. I have about 5 ft above my kitchen cabinets i want to paint my kitchen but don t know how to get up there to cut in where the wall meets the ceiling.
