An under cabinet heat guard as it sounds is for mounting a toaster oven underneath a kitchen cabinet just like you might a microwave. The eye will naturally be drawn upward toward your finds which have their own particular place to stand out. I can t wait to attempt to do it to mine. Not sure if it will look odd though. This is a great idea but you don t want to overdo it. To create a more airy feel remove that cabinet and opt for a couple of well placed shelves instead.
This area is an ideal storage space for dish soaps and anything you don t mind being exposed to humidity from the sink. Vases vintage letters and even books are ideal to display above cabinets. Show off some art. An over the range otr microwave combines a microwave with a range hood.
I am not really wanting open shelving all over even though i love your laundry room. If you have a backsplash you love extend it up to the ceiling to fill the space over the cabinets. If your backsplash is really busy you may want to keep the space over your cabinets bare to balance everything out. One 7 by 30 inches one 30 by 15 inches and one 18 by 30 inches.
