If you re wondering how i got away with having a ton of kitchen equipment in a tiny manhattan space it s because i ve always made my wares part of the living space. Setting up your new kitchen is simple if you approach it methodically. If you can do a puzzle and i really don t like puzzles much then you ll have no problem unpacking and setting up your kitchen. A fridge consumables zone some cabinets non consumables zone a sink cleaning zone a little countertop space preparation zone and a stove cooking zone. It can be a ceiling pot rack or a wall mounted bar style or shelf style one. Even if you have a tiny apartment galley kitchen you still probably have the essentials. From that line and draw another line for the bottom of the upper cabinets.

Cleaning your cabinets thoroughly will prevent bugs from taking up residence and keep your kitchen items fresh. Make your kitchen items part of your decor.
