Floor fitter suggested after installation as if tiles wooden floors are being changed then you don t have to remove the units.
Have a question remodeling kitchen and put laminate flooring down before i put in cabinets on one side of kitchen. Will do it right when i put a cabinet on the other side of the kitchen. The smart move is to install the floor first. Ceramic or porcelain tile lends a modern look and feel to a kitchen.

Then install cabinets then the tiles can go down.

Any solution other than pulling the cabinets out and reworking. The finish can be applied after the cabinet installation lessening concerns about marring the floors during the remodel. May i ask what would be the better option to lay wooden or tiled floors before or after kitchen units are fitted. Drill a corresponding hole in the bottom of the island and set in place.
Install 3 4 threaded pins in the grout line on one side depending on size of island.
